FAQs

How does on location shoot work?

For example a location can be your business or office. For a portrait or fashion shoot a good location might be a beach, park, castle, street or any indoor or outdoor location you'd like. I will meet you there and work with wireless gear and lights. A makeup artist can be arranged as well prior to the photoshoot.

A location shoot is a great choice for example:

Marking an occasion, anniversary or life event
Wedding photo (separate from the main event)
Dating profile photos
A tourist visiting Dublin
Family or couple photos
Social media content

How does studio photography work?

Currently I'm shooting studio work in my home studio in Dublin 13. You can either arrive fully styled (makeup & hair) or I can arrange a professional makeup artist at the studio, in which case start time is 1 hour before the shoot.

Studio photos work especially well for example:

Fashion, beauty and makeup photoshoots

How does product photography work?

You can ship or personally deliver products to me in Dublin to be professionally photographed in studio. Shipping and return is paid by the client.

Fresh restaurant and bar products like drinks and food are best shot on location as they are prepared.

Products can also be photographed outdoors on location, on a beach for example.

Can you capture HDR architectural or real estate photos?

Yes! I'm happy to photograph bracketed shots that can be blended into a High Dynamic Range image. This is a great way to utilise natural light with multiple exposures to make sure windows, lamps and other bright areas aren't blown out while maintaining all the information in shadow areas as well.

How and when do I get the images?

Delivery of retouched images after a larger photoshoot is within 1 week once payment is received. Portraits are delivered within a few days. You will be provided a Dropbox link that allows you to download all the images at once. Original resolution (hi-res pixel dimension) is always included.

How can I use the images?

Once you have paid for the work you have full usage rights of the final retouched images in perpetuity. Use for example on social media, websites, print products, brochures, magazines, advertisement, catalogues, e-commerce, etc.

The only restriction is to not resell the images for example on stock image websites.

The delivered images are carefully selected and retouched. Please refrain from further editing or altering the images. Raw/unedited files are never supplied.

Can you also arrange a makeup artist?

Absolutely! I often work together with my wife Eve - A professional makeup artist. In studio we can easily have makeup done in the same space just prior the photoshoot. The makeup artist can also do a house call and come to your location before meeting at the photoshoot location.

What are your rates? How do I book a photoshoot?

The direct booking calendar at the bottom of the page shows package pricing by category. Each price includes retouching and digital delivery.
